Merfashions in footwear & bling

Many an uninformed homo sapien has assumed that to mermaids, shoes are a moot point, and that the mer have no interest in them.  This couldn't be further from the truth.  Many mers are all but obsessed with shoes.  In fact, studies suggest that mermaids are primarily responsible for the fascination with high heels and the proliferation of extreme and often dangerous shoe designs over the centuries.  Herein are a few.

When it comes to jewelry, there are few beings on Earth who appreciate wearable embellishments as enthusiastically as mermaids.  It has long been rumored under the sea that 'bling' is the sonar-like sound their hearts make when they come across something decorative that they can turn into some form of personal adornment.  The few examples shown below do not even scratch the surface of the water as to the kinds of trinkets mers enjoy donning.
